Gregory Michaels Salon
My hair. It’s gone through some pretty rough looking reincarnations (especially after my favorite hairdresser/dear friend Lauren Yoho moved to DC), but lately, I can’t complain - in fact, I’ve been getting a lot of compliments on my hair! For the past year I’ve been going to Gregory Michaels Salon in the Highlands where I get my mane cared for by a hip, fancy lady by the name of Jessica Stacey.

I sought out a Bumble and Bumble salon because I love that product and have had luck with salons who carry the brand. A year ago, in hair distress, I googled “Bumble and Bumble salon, Louisville, KY,” found Gregory Michaels Salon, clicked on the stylist photos, and I knew I wanted Jessica to cut my hair.
WHY? Look at her:
My theory is that if you LOVE your stylist’s style/haircut, they will give you the cut that you are looking for. I feel really lucky to work with a person as kind, stylish, and understanding as Jessica. She truly listens to me and gives me advice on what works best with my features. A while back, she gave me the advice to deepen my bangs, I did, and now people ask me all the time, “Who cuts your hair???” It’s quite flattering.
Jessica gave me a 60s inspired cut that I love. Below are a couple of pictures that give my bangs justice:

Recently we’ve been playing around with layers. My students have been really sweet with their compliments, which means Jess must be doing right for this old lady. The kids think I’m hip!
If you are looking to get a great haircut, look no further - call Jessica Stacey. I pay $50 for a hair cut. For some, that might seem like a lot, but for me, it’s worth it. (PS - in SC and IL I paid around $80/$90 to go to a salon - I feel like Jessica’s prices are a STEAL).
“Along with being a master stylist and colorist, Jessica has a focus in hair extensions with a certification in Great Lengths fusion extensions. ”
